Management of EMS utilizes the career development model of the National Fire Academy and the model curriculum of the Fire Emergency Service Higher Education (FESHE) group, to provide both officers and students alike with all of the elements of EMS management from core competencies, such as strategic planning, training and education, and fleet management to the legal, financial, and ethical aspects of good EMS management. Years of meaningful hands-on experience and a passion for EMS, enable the authors to bring a real-life approach to this text.
